Term Life Insurance

LIFE INSURANCE

All members of the MTA automatically receive the following life insurance coverage.:

Member $45,000 of term life insurance coverage.
Member's Spouse $6,000 of term life insurance coverage
Member's Dependant Children (between the ages of 48 hours and 25 years) $4,000 of term life insurance coverage.
This coverage is provided by "The Standard".

NOTE:

At age 70, members coverage is reduced to $4,000 for each member.  Dependant spouse coverage cannot exceed 50% of member's coverage   All members are reminded to keep beneficiary and family information current.  Coverage depends on current information being on file at the MTA office.
