On Friday, May 10, 2012, the Maryland State Police will commemorate National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Week by honoring the 43 Maryland state troopers who gave their lives in the line of duty and two troopers who lost their lives during World War II. Please join us at this special memorial ceremony which will commence at 11 a.m.

Actions of Three Troopers Save Crash Victim’s Life

Jackson County: This morning the actions of three Indiana State Troopers saved the life of a 51 year old Charlestown, IN woman. Just after 8:00 this morning Senior Trooper Stephen Wheeles responded to a report of a crash involving an overturned vehicle on I-65 southbound at the 56.5 mile marker just south of the Jackson/Bartholomew County line.
